About Course
Sericulture course deals with rearing of silk worms and production of raw silk.
Sericulture provides gainful employment, economic development, and improvement in the quality of life of the people in rural areas
and therefore it plays an important role in poverty eradication program and prevents migration of rural people to
urban area in search of employment.
Study of sericulture has vast scope for government jobs in research center, silk board, academics. Sericulture units and Agriculture
sector banks.
Eligibility
All Streams (Arts/Science/ Commerce) (UG/PG) with 45%marks in the last exam.
